A wearable pump that lasts all day in your regular bra
The Lansinoh DiscreetDuo™ Flow slips into the bra you already wear, with no cords or tubes, and Lansinoh rates it at up to 200 minutes per charge. It’s the redesigned DiscreetDuo, made for moms who pump away from home.
Charge it overnight, and the cable can often stay home.

Questions moms ask about the DiscreetDuo Flow
How much does the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow Wearable Breast Pump cost with insurance?
With insurance, the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow Wearable Breast Pump is $0 out of pocket on the plans we work with. Check your coverage and we’ll tell you your exact cost before you order.
How strong is the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow suction?
Up to 280 mmHg across 9 levels in each of its 4 modes, Lansinoh says, and its manual puts the expression-mode range at 120 to 280 mmHg. That is slightly above the 270 mmHg the Spectra S1 and S2 list. Each side can run its own mode and level.
Is the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow hospital grade?
Lansinoh calls the Flow’s suction “hospital strength” and says it meets that level, but we don’t use the hospital grade label for any pump. The number to compare is maximum suction: 280 mmHg on the Flow, against 270 on the Spectra S1 and S2.
How do I put the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow together?
Four steps from Lansinoh’s manual: 1. Attach the valve to the milk collector, lying horizontal. 2. Press the silicone diaphragm into the collector with the notch facing the breast. 3. Attach the flange, line up the pour spouts, press firmly all the way around and seal the spout with its cover. 4. Line up the notch on the pump hub with the diaphragm and press down until it is airtight. Then center your nipple in the flange and keep the pump upright.
How do I clean the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow?
Rinse the milk collector, flange, inserts, diaphragm and valve in cold water after each session, then hand wash them in warm soapy water, using a nipple brush on the hard plastic only. Air dry completely. Never rinse or submerge the pump hub; wipe it with 70 to 90 percent alcohol. Lansinoh doesn’t say these parts are dishwasher safe, so we’d hand wash. Before first use, boil the washable parts for 5 minutes.
What replacement parts does the DiscreetDuo Flow need, and where do I buy them?
Lansinoh says to replace the diaphragm, valve and silicone inserts every 2 to 3 months, and the flange and milk collector every 3 to 6 months. Lansinoh sells spares on its own site, and parts for the original DiscreetDuo don’t fit the Flow. Call us if you’d like help finding the right ones.
Do I need a pumping bra for the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow?
No. Lansinoh designed the Flow to slip into your regular bra. Bra extension straps come in the box if you need a little more room.
How long does the DiscreetDuo Flow battery last, and how do I charge it?
Lansinoh’s site says up to 200 minutes, about 5 sessions, per charge, while its manual says about 150 minutes, so plan on somewhere in between. The manual puts a full charge at about 1.5 hours. Use the included cable with a 5V 2A supply and no fast charger, and note that you can’t pump while it charges. The night light uses battery faster.
How loud is the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow?
Less than 45 dB, Lansinoh says, which is why it suits night feeds. Lansinoh’s manual doesn’t give a decibel figure.
Which flange size fits the DiscreetDuo Flow?
It comes with a 24 mm flange, inserts in 15, 17, 19 and 21 mm, and a nipple ruler. Lansinoh says to pick the size closest to your nipple, though many moms do best one size smaller, and each breast may need its own size. If you’re not sure, call us and we’ll help you measure.
Can I use the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow lying down?
No. Lansinoh’s manual says to stay upright the whole session and not to bend over or lie down, because tilting can let milk into the pump hub and damage it. Keep the pump upright when you take it off, too, until the hub is removed.
Does insurance cover the Lansinoh DiscreetDuo Flow?
Yes. Most health plans must cover a breast pump under federal rules, and we check your plan, get the prescription from your doctor, and ship the DiscreetDuo Flow to your door. Start your order through insurance, and we will tell you before anything ships if your plan covers a different pump.
How does the DiscreetDuo Flow compare with the Zomee W1?
The Flow reaches 280 mmHg with 9 levels and adds a night light, while the Zomee W1 reaches 300 mmHg with 12 levels and a warming shield. Both are wearable and hold 6 oz per cup.
