Description
- Wearable
- Fully in-bra
- No tubes or cords
- App-driven
A silent, all-in-bra pump that runs itself
The Elvie Pump fits entirely inside your bra, with no tubes, cords or waist hub. It’s Elvie’s quietest pump at 32 dB, and sensors switch modes and stop when the bottle is full, so you can pump on a call or in a meeting.
Nobody needs to know you’re pumping unless you tell them.

Is the Elvie Pump right for you?
Best for
- Pumping at work, on calls, or anywhere quiet matters
- Moms who want nothing outside the bra
- Tracking how much milk you make, live in the app
- Topping up a stash between feeds
Maybe not for
- Moms who want the strongest suction from a wearable: the Elvie Stride reaches up to 300 mmHg, a level Elvie calls hospital-grade
- Anyone who’d rather not use an app: a button-only wearable like the Zomee W1 keeps it simple
What sets it apart: you can barely hear it
Instead of a regular motor, each Elvie Pump uses tiny Piezo discs that, Elvie says, move 21,000 times a second, above the range of human hearing. The result is 32 dB, quiet enough for a video call.
Each pump is one smooth shape, 2.72 inches deep, with the bottle built in. There’s nothing to clip to your waistband and nothing to snag on a door handle.

It does the thinking for you
Infrared sensors watch the milk in each bottle, so the pump makes the calls you’d usually make yourself.

Questions moms ask about the Elvie Pump
How much does the Elvie Breast Pump cost with insurance?
With insurance, the Elvie Breast Pump costs $195 to $455, depending on your plan. Plans add an upgrade fee for this pump. Check your coverage and we’ll tell you your exact cost before you order.
How strong is the Elvie Pump suction?
Elvie’s manual lists a vacuum range of 40 to 220 mmHg across 7 intensity settings. That is a lower maximum than the Spectra S1 and S2, which list 270 mmHg, and than the Elvie Stride at 300. Compare maximums only; a higher number does not mean a pump empties better.
How do you assemble the Elvie Pump?
Assembly takes five steps, from Elvie’s manual. 1. Make sure every part is dry. 2. Push the breast shield into the hub. 3. Twist and click the spout onto the bottle. 4. Push the valve onto the spout. 5. Click the bottle onto the hub, then press Power.
How do you clean the Elvie Pump?
Rinse in cold water, wash in warm water with mild dish soap, rinse for 10 to 15 seconds and dry completely, or use the top shelf of the dishwasher, Elvie’s manual says. Before first use, boil the parts for 5 minutes. The hub has electronics and must stay dry: wipe it with a damp cloth and keep the black milk-volume sensor on its base clear of residue.
What parts does the Elvie Pump have, and when do they need replacing?
Six washable parts: the valve, spout, lid, bottle, seal and breast shield. Elvie rates the washable parts at about six months and the hub at about 500 hours. Elvie’s manual gives a 2 year hub warranty and 90 days on the washable parts. Replacement parts are sold at elvie.com; call or message us if you are not sure which one you need.
What breast shield size does the Elvie Pump use?
24 mm and 28 mm shields come in the box. Elvie sells 21 mm shields separately, and 15, 17 and 19 mm nipple cushions fit inside the 24 mm shield.
How long does the battery last?
5 to 6 sessions, or about 2.5 hours, depending on your settings, Elvie says, from a charge of about 2 hours. A green battery light means full, orange charging and red low, and the pump will not run while it charges.
How quiet is the Elvie Pump?
32 dB, Elvie says, measured in maximum expression mode, which it calls its quietest slimline pump. Elvie says that is quiet enough to pump on a video call.
Do I need the app?
No. The button on each pump starts it and the sensors handle mode switching. The app adds live milk volume, SmartRhythms and your session history.
Is the Elvie Pump hospital grade?
Elvie doesn’t call the Elvie Pump hospital grade, and we don’t either. It publishes 40 to 220 mmHg, and the Elvie Stride is the Elvie pump the maker calls hospital-grade.
Can I use the Elvie Pump lying down?
No. Elvie’s manual says not to use the Elvie Pump while lying down or exercising hard. Wear it sitting or standing in a standard nursing bra, pressed firmly against your breast with no gaps.
Elvie Pump or Elvie Stride?
The Elvie Pump is the one with nothing outside your bra: no tubes, no waist hub, 32 dB. The Elvie Stride trades that for the higher maximum, up to 300 mmHg to the Pump’s 220, with light cups and a hub on your waistband.
Does insurance cover the Elvie Pump?
Most health plans must cover a breast pump under federal rules, and we check whether yours covers the Elvie Pump. Start your order through insurance, and we will tell you before anything ships if your plan covers a different pump.
